Meetings
Blayney Shire Local & Family History Group Inc. meets at 10.00 AM on the second Wednesday each month, excepting January, at the Blayney Community Centre, Church Street, Blayney. The December meeting is a social occasion, consisting of a visit to a local historical place, followed by lunch at a nearby venue. The Annual General Meeting is held in August. Special guests, or presentations by members feature at some meetings, with reports on group activities; research requests; or matters of concern relating to local heritage. Workshops are occasionally held on topics selected by group members.
Membership
The subscription fee of $20.00 single or $25.00 double covers membership for the period July-June each year, and is due no later than the end of August each year. Members receive a copy of the group's journal, "Blayney Diggings," three times a year, and are able to borrow from the group's resource library.
